Our client is seeking a Contracts & Cost Control Administrator to join their team on a major CCUS project in Liverpool Bay area, where you will play a crucial role in managing contracts and controlling costs effectively.
Role Overview
- Support the Contract Holder in contract management activities including purchase requisition preparation and service order uploads in SAP.
- Verify service tickets and manage day-to-day contracts, ensuring formal communication with contractors.
- Review invoices for compliance with contract documents and maintain an invoice and costs log.
- Assist in budget forecasting and support the change management process.
- Liaise with the Procurement department for contract handover and claim management.
- Track variation orders proposals and contractual communications.
- Ensure costs are monitored and provide insights for efficient management.
- Execute cost controls accurately and prepare timely project cost reports.
- Proficient in PC software including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of SAP for contract administration.
- Strong administration skills with considerable experience in contracts administration within Oil and Gas projects.
- Experience in cost control and reporting.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical, financial, and legal documents.
- Excellent report writing skills conforming to prescribed styles.
- Educated to 'A' level with 5 years of experience or a university degree.
- Competitive daily rate based on qualifications and experience.
