The Role

// We’re looking for a Contracts Manager to join our Legal team and take the lead on project-managing customer and supplier contract negotiations, with a strong focus on the North American markets.

You’ll partner closely with our General Counsel and teams across the business, supporting public sector RFPs, new customer deals, upsells, and global supplier contracts. Beyond day-to-day contract work, you’ll help shape smarter ways of working - using AI, automation, and improved processes to make contract management more efficient and consistent.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer and supplier contracts, mainly in the US, with some work across Canada, the UK and EU
• Support RFPs by reviewing proposed terms and preparing contract exceptions
• Work with business and finance stakeholders to align on pricing, scopes, and key terms
• Champion smarter workflows; help adopt automation and AI tools to improve how contracts are reviewed and managed
• Maintain and enhance templates, playbooks, and contract processes for clarity and efficiency
• Take ownership of tools and processes that support smarter contract triaging
• Keep contract-related workstreams organised, on track, and well-communicated
• Structure and maintain a clear, centralised contract repository
• Provide guidance on contractual terms and help teams make better, informed decisions

About You

• Strong experience managing complex commercial contracts in tech; SaaS is a plus
• Familiarity with US contract law and North American market norms; global exposure a plus
• Skilled at drafting, redlining, and negotiating commercial contracts
• Open to exploring AI and automation to make work more efficient
• Proactive, curious, and process-minded — you look for ways to improve how things get done
• Calm, organised, and adaptable; able to juggle priorities under pressure
• Collaborative and approachable, with clear communication skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and good at following through

Bonus Points

• Experience supporting public sector RFPs or regulated contracts
• Familiarity with privacy, data protection, or IP clauses
• Exposure to tools like DocuSign, LinkSquares, or automation platforms
