Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bath for a Control System Engineer. The Control System Engineer will be tasked with designing, developing, testing, and maintaining control systems and applications. Responsibilities include creating technical specifications, performing system diagnostics, debugging issues, and implementing improvements to optimize performance. The role also involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet reliability and performance standards while adhering to industry regulations and company objectives.

Qualifications
  • Experience in Control Systems design and development, with expertise in PLC programming, automation systems, and control theory
  • Strong skills in system diagnostics, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with mathematical modeling, data analysis, and system optimization
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations related to control systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field
  • Previous experience in energy or power system industries is a plus
