Control Tower Operations Specialist - 6-Month Contract

Control Tower is a key component of the service offered to Asendia’s customers, as it proactive monitors parcels through the logistics network until final delivery to consumer. This ensures the highest service standards, while keeping all stakeholders (retailers and consumers) up to date with the status of their parcels.

Your Tasks:

• Manage the Daily activities with the Control Tower Operating System per the Business Rules and SOPs defined.
• Analyze real-time data to identify disruptions, delays, or inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions proactively.
• Collaborate with logistics providers, suppliers and internal teams to resolve parcel/data exceptions and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met according to Asendia’s customer promise.
• Utilize Data, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making.
• Create and update records and databases with Tracking data, POD’s, Times stamps
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost, service, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure adherence across regions or business units.

Your Profile:

• Customer-oriented and a true team player, able to perform under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders in a positive, solution-oriented manner
• Comfortable working with data, performing analytics, and driving follow-up actions
• 3+ years of experience in Global Logistics and Supply Chain (preferred)
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) is a plus
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with office and logistics software is an advantage
