In the course of a replacement, we are offering the following position within the Converting Department of WEPA UK as Converting Operator

Your Responsibilities
- Adhere to health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work, including the use of PPE and reporting near misses.
- Ensure compliance with quality procedures to maintain product standards.
- Operate production equipment efficiently to meet daily targets, with a “fix-it-myself” approach to problem-solving.
- Conduct machine and product changeovers effectively.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the production line.
- Ensure accurate stock levels using the JDE system to support cost control, meet customer orders OTIF, and align with the production plan.
- Ensure clear and effective communication between shifts and with supervision.
- Training: Support and assist in the training of new operators.
Your Profile
Experience: Hands-on experience in operating production equipment.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively disseminate information to the
team.
- Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Attention to Detail: Adequate literacy and numeracy skills, with a focus on accuracy and achieving results.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.
- Ownership & Flexibility: A sense of responsibility with a flexible approach to meet operational demands.
