The Role As a Conveyancing Solicitor you will be managing your own caseload of purchase, sale, and title transfer transactions from the initial instruction to the final completion stage. You will work closely with the team to expedite cases efficiently, upholding high client service standards. Additionally, you will liaise with our valued clients, understanding their requirements, and managing all cases in line with service level agreements and industry best practices. You w

ill have 1-1 support with a dedicated Conveyancing Paralegal who will assist you in all the administrative aspects of your cases alongside a Legal Support Executive and a team of Legal Assistants who support the entire department. This set-up ensures that you are working directly within a small team to ensure the quickest and best outcome for your client. At Jones Whyte, you are given the autonomy to handle your own cases whilst also having the support from Associate Solicitors and a Partner within the department when required. You'll be surrounded by people who will help you achieve your ambitions. You will benefit from the chance to grow and enhance your skills at the heart of our Conveyancing department. This role is open to candidates to be based at our Edinburgh or Glasgow office and we offer hybrid working. Key Responsibilities

Managing cases comprehensively from instruction to completion.
Collaborating with the team to ensure the swift and efficient progression of all conveyancing matters.

Engaging with our valued clients to understand their needs and manage cases in adherence to service level agreements and best practices.

Prioritising tasks and optimising work procedures for maximum efficiency.

Maintaining consistent and transparent communication with clients, colleagues, and external agencies - consistently delivering professional and efficient service.

Effectively utilising our case management system.

Who are you?

2+ years residential Conveyancing experience.
Experience of wide variety of property matters in Scotland.
Professional and confident phone manner and ability to provide excellent service to our clients.
Strong, clear and concise communication skills with the ability to maintain client contact throughout the entirety of a process.
Sound analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
Computer literacy, with excellent MS office skills.

Desirable but not essential:

Commercial property experience
