Key Responsibilities:
1, Strategic Planning:
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework and strategy in alignment with business goals.
- Evaluate current IT infrastructure and propose improvements or changes to support business objectives.
2, Architecture Design:
- Design and implement enterprise-wide architecture solutions that integrate applications, data, and infrastructure.
- Create architectural models and documentation that illustrate the design and structure of systems and applications.
3, Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and challenges.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure architectural solutions meet organizational needs.
4, Governance and Compliance:
- Establish architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across IT projects.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
5, Technology Evaluation:
- Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
- Evaluate and select technology vendors and solutions that align with the enterprise architecture.
6, Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to technology and architecture.
- Develop contingency plans and strategies to address potential issues or disruptions.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, decisions, and processes.
- Prepare and present reports on architectural projects, performance, and progress to senior management.
7, Continuous Improvement:
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating and refining architecture practices and processes.
- Lead or participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance architectural knowledge and skills within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Experiences in IT architecture, including experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide solutions.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and integrating complex IT systems and solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to analyse complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Experience with IT governance, risk management, and compliance.
Technical Knowledge:
- Must have worked with AS400 systems. Core Banking application Equation is good to have.
- Familiarity with various technology domains, including cloud computing, data management, network architecture, and application development.
- Experience with enterprise architecture tools and modelling languages (e.g., UML, ArchiMate)
