An exciting opportunity has arisen to support a team of business support officers within the Digital and Customer Experience department.
You will lead a business support team that deliver a wide range of administrative support to Plymouth City Councils Community Connection and Place team. This support is vast and varied from homelessness and temporary accommodation through to waste and streets and bin collections.
The successful candidate will support and lead their team to deliver quality administrative support, ensuring effective communication and engagement in an ever changing and sometimes pressured environment, whilst supporting wellbeing and embedding a positive culture and team collaboration. Ability to build effective working relationships within a highly skilled team and the service area you support, maintaining professionalism and managing prioritise across the service demands and constraints.
We are looking for applications from enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate ability to work using their own initiative and effective decision making, whilst leading a team of individuals to support high performance in a results driven environment, with ever changing demands and priorities. You will be at the forefront of finding efficiencies through identifying new ways of working and continuous improvement to work with stakeholders to ensure high quality of service for internal staff and our customers.

The role requires the post holder to work primarily from office locations around the City with primarily location being Prince Rock Depot and Ballard House. With an ability to spend some of working week working from home.
