We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Business Support Officer to join our Place team, supporting Waste and Streets Services.
In this role, you’ll support a range of departments by providing high-quality administrative and customer service functions.
You’ll be confident in giving information and signposting customers face to face, over the phone, online, and in writing, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently to colleagues, managers, and the public.
Strong customer service skills, a professional approach, and the ability to work both independently and within a team are essential.
The ideal candidate will be a fast learner with solid administrative experience and a good understanding of office procedures.
You should be able to prioritise your own workload effectively to meet deadlines, demonstrate excellent IT and communication skills, and have the confidence to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution.
Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle financial transactions responsibly are also key requirements for the role.
