Sefton Council is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Complaints Manager to join our Corporate Service and oversee the Councils complaints process, including statutory complaints processes for both Integrated Adults and Social Care Services and Childrens Social Care.
Reporting to the Service Manager for Policy & Compliance, the post holder will be responsible for leading and managing a small team that receive and respond to customer feedback, complaints and other service enquires ensuring compliance with statute and associated regulations, ensuring all customers receive a high-quality and timely response.
As the key Link Officer for the LGSCO, the post holder will be required to keep up to date with all relevant policy and legislative changes, therefore a good working knowledge of complaints, associated procedures and statutory complaint legislation is essential.
In addition, a key part of this role it to share insights from compliments and complaints across the Council to help inform, shape and improve future service delivery.
