We are hiring a Corporate Paralegal in the UK to assist with a range of corporate matters, including M&A transactions, company secretarial, operations and structures, employment governance and reporting matters. This role sits within our corporate legal team and offers the opportunity to work with different teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Governance
- Maintain corporate records, including board minutes, shareholder registers, and Companies House filings with the support of external counsel
- Assist with the preparation of board and shareholder resolutions
- Support the management of subsidiary governance and group structure documentation
- Tracking key dates
- Transactional & Compliance Support
- Assist with preparation of ancillary documents such as NDAs, engagement letters, and corporate authorisations
- Coordinate signature pages
- Assist with collecting information for regulatory filings, KYC/AML checks, and internal compliance processes
- Contract Management
- Maintain records, including updating the contract management system
- Legal Operations
- Help streamline legal processes and workflows
- Liaise with external counsel, business stakeholders, and other departments
- Provide general administrative support to the legal team
Required Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of experience, preferably in a corporate legal environment at a law firm or a corporation
- Knowledge of company secretarial practice
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; exposure to legal tech platforms (e.g., DocuSign)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
- Able to handle multiple tasks
- Experience in a publicly listed company with a number of subsidiaries and cross-border filings desirable.
