Corporate Tax Assistant / Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Corporate Tax Assistant/Trainee to join our dynamic tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual starting their career in tax to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment. Working alongside experienced tax professionals, you will assist in delivering corporate tax compliance and advisory services to a varied portfolio of clients across different industries.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting in the preparation of corporate tax computations and returns for a variety of clients.

Supporting the team in gathering and analysing financial data for tax purposes.

Communicating with clients to request information and provide updates on work progress.

Ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and deadlines.

Assisting with tax research to support advisory projects and client queries.

Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and helping apply them to client scenarios.

Participating in internal training sessions to build technical knowledge and develop expertise.

What We Are Looking For:

• A genuine interest in corporate tax and a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive and organized approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and a desire to understand the "why" behind the numbers.
• IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
