DP World is seeking a talented and experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join our UK Head Office team in Central London. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing UK corporation tax compliance, IFRS tax reporting, and providing high-quality tax advisory across our diverse and multi-entity UK group. With responsibilities covering corporate tax, VAT, payroll taxes, and tax governance, this role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration across our port, logistics, and investment businesses. You’ll be at the forefront of shaping and maintaining a strong tax control environment while supporting strategic business growth.
How You Will Contribute
- Prepare and submit UK corporation tax returns across multiple entities (ports & terminals, logistics, and holding companies), ensuring timely filings and maximising reliefs.
- Manage quarterly and annual tax reporting, including group forecasts, IFRS current and deferred tax provisions, and statutory audit support.
- Oversee and coordinate submission of UK group-level tax returns (e.g., CIR, group relief, loss allocation, group payments), and communicate outcomes to local and international stakeholders.
- Support and manage tax aspects of transfer pricing, SAO, Pillar 2, CbCR, CFC, WHT, and the UK Tax Strategy.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting by reviewing tax provisions and calculating tax numbers for periodic financial reviews.
- Manage timely preparation and reconciliation of VAT returns for the UK Regional Office and ensure correct VAT treatment across AP.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of payroll-related tax returns (PSA, P11D), STBV tracking, and advise on employment tax issues including IR35/off-payroll working assessments.
- Ensure tax governance by maintaining evidence for SAO certifications, updating the UK tax risk register, and supporting documentation and control testing for key tax risks.
- Stay abreast of legislative changes and ensure proactive communication and compliance implementation across departments.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and external advisors to provide tax input for business initiatives and strategic projects.
What Will You Bring
- Professional tax qualification (CTA or ATT) with at least 7+ years post-qualification experience in corporate tax.
- Strong in-house experience within an MNE group or equivalent advisory experience from a professional services firm.
- Solid technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation, IFRS tax reporting, and understanding of international tax frameworks (e.g. BEPS, Pillar 2).
- Working knowledge of VAT and payroll taxes in a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with Alphatax, Alphabridge, Oracle TRCS, or similar tax technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to independently resolve complex tax matters with sound judgment.
- Strong communication skills – articulate in both verbal and written formats, capable of simplifying complex tax matters for non-specialist stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, highly organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities with precision and accountability.
- Collaborative, proactive, and results-driven mindset, with a commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
