Corporate Tax Manager

I am currently recruiting a brand new Corporate Tax Manager role for a growing retailer based in Coventry.

Through an elevated focus on governance, process efficiency and business partnering, their transformation plans will see the role of Finance evolve. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping the future direction of the business.

The Corporate Tax Manager will deliver a broad range of tax compliance responsibilities across a range of countries. The role will suit a corporate tax specialist with previous experience working in-house or within a large or mid-tier accounting firm.

You will:

• Prepare the group's UK corporate tax returns
• Prepare the year-end tax provision calculations and periodic balance sheet review process
• Assessing BEPS Pillar 2 compliance requirements including building the necessary calculations - working closely with finance
• Manage all other corporate tax compliance requirements for the group
• Assist with employment tax compliance matters e.g. PSA, ERS filings etc
• Maintain ongoing compliance with internal risk management policies and identify process improvements within the Group including SAO reviews
• Communicate with HMRC and other tax authorities as required

You have:

• Tax qualification - CTA, ICAEW/ICAS or recognised equivalent
• Strong corporate tax skills including some international experience
• Proficiency in tax compliance software
• Strong tax accounting skills
• Good communication skills

This role is based in the office 1 day a fortnight near Coventry.
