We are looking for a skilled, forward-thinking Costs Lawyer to join our specialist Costs Team within the Disputes Group at Addleshaw Goddard. Our team is known for its technical excellence and commercially focused solutions, working on high-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes across a wide range of sectors.

What You'll Do:

• Provide strategic advice and support on costs-related matters across a wide range of disputes, including Commercial, Finance, Real Estate, Construction, Insolvency, and IP.

• Draft and manage costs documents, including bills, budgets, schedules, and negotiation materials.

• Support and advise fee-earners and clients on cost estimates, management, and recovery.

• Attend detailed assessments and summary hearings, advising on settlement parameters where appropriate.

• Ensure full compliance with relevant procedural rules and regulations.

• Contribute to innovation within the team by adopting new tools and approaches to costs management.

• Play a key role in supporting client satisfaction, team success, and the firm's financial performance.

Who We're Looking For:

• An experienced Costs Lawyer with end-to-end expertise in detailed assessment and costs management.

• Skilled in preparing bills, budgets (Precedent H, R, T), and schedules (N260, arbitration, payment on account).

• Able to manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate, high-quality work under pressure.

• Confident in offering strategic legal advice and working collaboratively to resolve complex issues.

• Driven to innovate and continuously improve both client service and team practices.
