The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Crane Engineer to join our team. If you are a qualified Electrician with industrial maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
In This Role, You Will
- Carry out routine service inspections on overhead cranes and hoists
- Apply knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations to ensure compliance
- Consult with customers, providing advice and recommendations to prevent breakdowns
- Perform fault finding, breakdown response, retrofits, modernisations, and upgrades on cranes and hoists
- Ensure safety is always the number one priority
Requirements
- NVQ3, HNC, HND, or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Relevant experience with cranes and hoists
- Proven technical knowledge of lifting equipment and lifting machinery
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build lasting client relationships
