Location: Bideford - potential for hybrid working
What will I be doing?
- Assisting the Credit Controller to manage the Sales Ledger
- Processing sales invoices in line with Company policies and procedures
- Managing internal and external debt payment questions and enquiries
- Monitoring aged debt and chasing overdue invoices and starting legal proceedings if customers do not pay their debts on time
- Maintaining accurate records

Ideally, we’re looking for:
- Excellent numeracy as well as good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to keep calm under pressure with a diplomatic but firm manner
- A team player willing to support colleagues to achieve team objectives
- Ability to work independently and to follow Company procedure
- Maintains high standards of accuracy and quality
- Confident use of accounting and advanced excel software
- Educated to GCSE level, or equivalent
- Qualified, or working towards an industry recognised qualification in accounting (e.g. AAT) or equivalent
