Credit Risk Assurance Manager

InterQuest are currently supporting a leading challenger bank in identifying a Credit Risk Assurance Manager to join the bank on a permenant basis.

This opportunity could be based in London, Midlands or the South East and would be 3 days in the office weekly.

The role would be responsible for managing a small team and providing oversight across credit risk assurance in line with the banks frameworks. This opportunitty would offer some excellent development opportunities across the bank and would be a very visable role in the group playing a key part in interaction with stakeholders.

Responsibilities would include

• Provinding credit risk support across policies and procedures alongisde prioviding opinion and commentary on Bridging, Commercial, Asset Finance and Development Finance and Residential.
• Leading the management of a team across all areas inluding development and 121s
• Support the annual risk assurance plan, allocating resources and capability to ensure the plan is met. This includes planning, sampling, testing and the reporting of findings in line with documented methodologies.

To be considered you would need

• Demonstrable management experience
• Experience in financial lending i.e. Commercial, Development and Asset Finance lending and structuring
• Good knowledge of regulations (PRA/FCA)
