We are looking for an expert CRM Executive who is fluent in HubSpot to join our growing team at The Smarty Train. Can you help our Sales and Marketing teams generate and manage leads, streamline and automate processes through AI, workflows and integrations, and produce valuable insights to help shape commercial decision-making? What would you do in this key, commercial role? Here is a snapshot:

HubSpot System Ownership

• Create, manage, and maintain custom properties to support data capture, segmentation, and reporting
• Build and optimise workflows for lead nurturing, lifecycle stages, and internal processes
• Develop and maintain dynamic lists for segmentation and campaign targeting
• Set up and manage sequences for sales outreach and follow-ups
• Create and maintain email templates for marketing campaigns and sales communications

Marketing & Sales Collaboration

• Align CRM processes with commercial goals, ensuring smooth handovers and consistent data flow
• Work with the Marketing Coordinator to support campaign execution with CRM-driven targeting, automation, and performance tracking
• Collaborate on lead scoring models and lifecycle stage definitions to improve conversion

Reporting & Analytics

• Build and maintain dashboards and custom reports to track KPIs across sales and marketing
• Analyse CRM data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement
• Produce a weekly Commercial Report with data across the commercial value chain to drive strategic and tactical focus

Data Management & Integrity

• Conduct regular audits, deduplication, and validation to ensure data cleanliness
• Monitor and enforce data governance policies and standards

Training & Enablement

• Train users on HubSpot features, best practices, and new functionality
• Provide ongoing support and documentation for CRM processes and updates

Integration & Automation

• Integrate HubSpot with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Apollo Lead Gen
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual work

• Remaining calm under pressure, adapting and responding well to change
• Keen to learn, open to feedback, and proactive in seeking support when needed
• Advanced MS Office and HubSpot skills

Does your experience look like this?

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience with HubSpot CRM, ideally across Sales and Marketing Hubs
• Strong understanding of CRM architecture, data structures, and automation
• Proficiency in building workflows, reports, dashboards, and custom properties
• Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

This would be ‘nice to have’:

• HubSpot certifications (e.g., Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, CRM Implementation) are a plus.
• Interest in the talent/learning & development space
