Job Title: CRM Implementation Lead (Customer & Membership Platforms)

Location: Wherstead Park, Ipswich, Suffolk

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent, Hybrid working (Minimum 3 days per week in the office)

Reporting to: Customer & Member Experience Lead

Team: Customer, Member & Marketing

We’re looking for an experienced CRM Implementation Lead to own this journey end-to-end. This is a permanent, strategic role responsible not only for implementing the platform, but embedding it into the organisation, driving adoption, ensuring strong data governance, and unlocking long-term value through insight, automation and smarter engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead the end-to-end implementation of a new CRM / customer data platform across the organisation.
Act as the internal product owner for the platform, shaping how it is configured, governed and developed over time.
Enable the successful launch and ongoing evolution of our new membership proposition.
Create a robust single customer and member view by overseeing data mapping, integrations and migration.
Establish and embed strong data governance, GDPR compliance and data quality practices.
Drive adoption across teams through training, documentation and practical enablement.
Enable marketing automation, audience segmentation and lifecycle communications.
Work closely with Marketing, Insight, IT, Digital and operational teams across the business.
Manage external CRM partners and suppliers to ensure delivery quality and momentum.
Develop a clear roadmap for continuous CRM and capability development.

What You’ll Need

Proven experience leading the implementation and ongoing management of a CRM or customer data platform.

Strong understanding of customer data, data structures and building a single customer view.

Experience embedding data governance and GDPR compliance in real-world environments.

Confidence working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong project leadership skills and experience managing external suppliers.

Experience enabling marketing automation, segmentation and customer journeys.

Ability to translate business needs into practical system and process solutions.

Experience in retail, membership, loyalty or customer-centric environments (highly desirable).

Familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Bloomreach or similar (desirable).
