CSSD and Equipment Coordinator | Spire Yale | Wrexham | 12 months FTC | Part time | 25 hours per week | £12.26 per hour
Spire Yale Hospital, Wrexham have exciting opportunity for a CSSD and Equipment Coordinator to join our Team on a part-time and fixed-term contract for 12 months.

Working Hours: Monday through Friday between 8 am and 4:30 pm
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract for 12 months
As CSSD and Equipment Coordinator you will be responsible to Co-ordinate the multiple HSDU sites and their workload on a weekly basis.
Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)
- Assisting with theatre drivers’ rotas and allocation of tasks on down time
- Notifying the HSDU sites of any changes to work loads and amendments as and when necessary
- Working along side the scrub team lead, theatre drivers and loan kit co-ordinators to ensure all needs of loan equipment, HSDU allocations and the organisation of borrowing of trays from other sites when necessary
- Monitoring use of consigned kit and regular loan to determine of the consigned stock needs adjusting,
- A working knowledge of the loan process and checking in and out of equipment
- Accountable for servicing of all equipment in theatre and working along side the medical device lead and attend meetings
- Working with the scrub team leader to look at any additional instruments, pricing and the creation of trays
- A log of equipment repairs and costing
- Assisting the store co-ordinator in additional roles to cover holidays and sickness
- Provide support for stock takes
Who We're Looking For
- Experience in a similar role, providing a full high quality service
- Full knowledge and application of MS Office
- Computer literate
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in a hospital or similar set up and knowledge of medical terminology is desirable
