Join Us as a Customer Experience Agent – Home working/hybrid

£20,374.88 per annum + BONUS (Up to £1,400 per annum performance related bonus)

Are you from Salford and looking for a dynamic role that offers the perfect blend of home working and office collaboration? At G4S, we are looking for empathetic, logical, and effective communicators to join our team as Customer Experience Agents.

Location

This role allows you to work predominantly from home, with a requirement to be in our Salford office for one week every five weeks.

Work Hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours between 8:00 am and 6:00

pm.

Training & Compensation

  • Begin with an in-depth 4-week on-site training session.
  • Earn a competitive salary of £20,374.88 per annum, plus quality performance bonuses.
  • Additional compensation provided for travel during office-based weeks.

About Us

Our G4S Customer Contact Centre in Wath Upon Dearne provides advice and support to the public on behalf of our clients. We have experienced rapid growth and are now a team of over 2000 people who spend their day helping people.

The Role

You will be the vital first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive professional and supportive service. Your role is crucial in providing solutions and assistance on every call. We offer hybrid working, with the majority of your time spent working from home, complemented by regular team interactions and line management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage telephone queries, providing information to both external and internal customers.
  • Maintain effective communication and liaise with customers, client departments, and management.
  • Adhere to company standards for call and communication targets.
  • Stay informed about company and legislative updates.
  • Complete all required training and stay updated with safeguarding policies.
  • Be proactive in tackling underperformance and areas of concern.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in customer-focused roles.
  • Strong communication skills, able to handle pressure and sensitive issues.
  • Self-awareness for personal and others' health and safety.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, and IT skills, particularly in Google packages.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support colleagues.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in fast-paced Call Centre environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
  • Openness to learning and adapting to change.
