As part of our next intake of apprentices, we are looking for a Customer Service and Business Support Assistant to join our team who will complete a Business Administration qualification.

A role with us allows you to work with a variety of customers, helping them access market leading professional publications. As part of our award winning Customer Service and Business Support team, you will ensure every customer, internal and external receives outstanding service. Our apprenticeship will allow you to work closely with our editorial and sales teams, giving you a well rounded experience to kick start your career.
We are looking for a talented individual to help deliver a first class and professional service. Our apprentice will develop excellent communication skills with our customers and team via face to face, web meetings, telephone and email. We are looking for someone who wants to deliver the best results for our brand and embrace the Haymarket experience.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients directly with enquiries via email, telephone, web meetings and managing our shared inbox
- Managing client subscriptions processing renewals, new business and setting up trials and chasing any unpaid amounts and escalating to credit control if necessary
- Supporting our sales team by providing reports, making changes to subscriptions
- Performing some editorial duties including setting up our bulletins, and assisting with uploading our appeals to our database
- Database administration making sure our data is kept accurate and up to date
Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria
Your skills, experience and knowledge/ Minimum role criteria
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable prioritising, multitasking and working to strict deadlines
- A proactive team player with the ability to work independently
- Proficient at data entry with good attention to detail
- Numerate and IT literate, comfortable working with data and spreadsheets
