The Customer Success Transport Specialist is responsible for managing shipment planning aspects, working closely with Customer Success Partners in delivering Order Fulfilment Rate and meeting customer expected delivery dates. This role will be focusing on Transport planning aspects however as part of Logistics & Customer Success Team, the successful Primo will play a cross functional role among Customer Success, logistics and warehousing areas.
The role is based in the UK supply centre, located in Glasgow. The supply centre is one of five globally and manages all operational and supply activity for their brands. The supply centre in Glasgow is responsible for managing the Bacardi portfolio of Whisky and Gin brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
- Act as the owner for all transport-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring documentation is accurate, up to date, and continuously improved.
- Ensure transport bookings are fully confirmed, including correct loading dates/times and appropriate equipment types.
- Coordinate and monitor effective load planning, ensuring stock availability and locations are verified prior to loading.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success partners to support achievement of On-Time Final Delivery (OTIF) and Order Fulfilment Rate (OFR) targets.
- Stay informed on changes in the logistics and transport market; proactively identify potential impacts and propose action plans.
- Address ad-hoc and emergency transport issues by facilitating group discussions and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to identify solutions and implement actions.
- Support cost control efforts by tracking and reconciling additional charges, contributing to cost KPIs, and helping reduce the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC).
- Assist in Finished Goods stock management by providing transport insights that support stockholding targets.
- Generate and report on transport-related KPIs, ensuring accurate and timely data for decision-making.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), fourth-party logistics partners (4PLs), and key transport stakeholders, including hauliers, carriers, and freight forwarders, to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery.
- Work with relevant teams to identify and implement process improvements within the transport function.
- Engage with the global transportation control tower and contribute valuable input to both Deepsea and EU transport tender processes.
- Support cross-functional collaboration across JDSL to enhance operational performance and results.
- Monitor and participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to transport logistics.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans for transport operations.
- Provide support to Logistics & Customer Success Managers when required, ensuring continuity of operations.
- Perform additional transport-related tasks and initiatives as they are developed over time.
