We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Data Migration Lead to take full ownership of a business-critical data migration workstream as part of a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP implementation. This is a high-impact, time-sensitive role requiring immediate onboarding and leadership through a challenging and dynamic phase of the program.
With a major rollout approaching, this role will be central to ensuring the timely, high-quality delivery of both master and transactional data migrations. The ideal candidate brings deep technical and functional knowledge of AX to D365 migrations, as well as the leadership skills to manage diverse stakeholders and drive resolution under pressure.
Two days onsite a week in Emmeloord, The Netherlands is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full data migration lifecycle from AX2009/AX2012 to Microsoft D365 F&O, including extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and reconciliation.
- Own and manage the data migration plan, ensuring alignment with overall program milestones and deadlines.
- Coordinate and manage a blended team of technical resources, business analysts, and third-party contributors to ensure delivery to time, cost, and quality.
- Establish a robust, auditable ETLV process using Microsoft technologies such as Dataverse, Fabric, Azure DevOps, and SharePoint.
- Guide business teams through data cleansing and transformation efforts using pre-defined templates and standards.
- Lead sprint stand-ups, status reviews, and issue resolution across all data workstreams.
- Provide expert input on data entity usage, migration tooling, and best practices for ERP data governance.
- Ensure business continuity and stability through data cutover, validation, and transition phases including post-go-live support.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive experience leading data migration for global D365 ERP programs, particularly AX2009/AX2012 to D365 F&O transitions.
- Strong knowledge of D365 data structures, including sales, service, supply chain, and warehouse domains.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Dataverse, Fabric, and other Microsoft data tools.
