D365 Solution Architect – Finance Transformation

About the Role

We’re seeking a hands-on, finance-focused D365 Solution Architect to lead the continued evolution of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, driving finance transformation and enhancing integration across business systems. This role is central to improving internal processes, delivering key projects, and coordinating a growing offshore functional team.

You’ll work closely with senior finance stakeholders, business leads, and technical experts to unlock the full value of D365 Finance & Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the D365 Finance transformation – driving process improvement, platform enhancement, and ongoing optimization across multiple legal entities.
Coordinate and coach a growing offshore functional team – providing guidance, support, and performance oversight.
Own and support Phase 2 initiatives including integrations, automation, and pre-project scoping.
Partner with senior stakeholders including the CFO and Group Controller to align technical delivery with business objectives.
Ensure effective delivery of D365 projects and BAU enhancements.
Collaborate with internal experts (technical and functional) to guide solution design, platform strategy, and business engagement.
Work with the wider finance team on transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Experience

Proven expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) – live platform experience essential.
Strong background in finance transformation projects (must be fluent in core finance processes).
Experience with integrations, automations, and external application connectivity within D365 environments.
Previous exposure to multi-entity finance environments.
Demonstrable experience in managing or coaching offshore teams.
Comfortable engaging C-level stakeholders.
