Job Description
We are looking for a committed and organised Administrator to join our Young Londoner’s Victim Service (YLVS). This role is essential in ensuring that young victims and witnesses of crime receive the right support at the right time.
As the Administrator, you’ll be providing vital support to the service—managing the inbox and helpline, supporting victims with timely responses, coordinating meetings, sending surveys, managing petty cash and invoices, and maintaining supplies. You’ll also play a key role in data reporting and safeguarding practices, support caseworkers with administrative tasks, and ensure referrals are recorded correctly in our case management system (HALO).
You’ll work closely with a passionate team, committed to empowering individuals and improving victim support services and contact across London. Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum of GCSE-level English and Maths
- Previous administration experience essential
- Strong IT skills, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and databases
- Experience with data management, analysis, and reporting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Experience of working across agencies and managing sensitive information in line with the Data Protection Act
- Minute-taking experience desirable
- A commitment to inclusive practice and supporting young people from diverse backgrounds

Hours & work pattern: Part time, 18.5 hours per week.
Salary: £25,000; £12,500 pro rata
Location: Based at our service in Romford, London
