Job Description
📊💥 Data Analyst Apprentice – Because Spreadsheets Deserve a Hero 💥📊
Location: Enfield Council
Team: Digital Services – AKA the techy superheroes
Salary: Enough to fund your snack stash and then some
Level: Apprentice (No cape required, just curiosity)
So, what’s the gig?
Are you the kind of person who secretly enjoys making a colour-coded revision timetable? Do you love solving puzzles, spotting patterns, or just want to know what the heck a “pivot table” is?
Then we want YOU to join our Digital Services team as a Data Analyst Apprentice.
You’ll be helping us make sense of the numbers behind the scenes – from how many people use our services to how we can make them better. Think of it like being a detective, but instead of a magnifying glass, you’ve got Excel and AI tools (and yes, we’ll teach you how to use them).
What will you actually do?
- Help us wrangle data like a pro (don’t worry, we’ll show you how).
- Support real-life projects that make a difference in your community.
- Learn how to use data to tell stories, solve problems, and impress your mates.
- Work with cool people who’ll help you grow your skills (and maybe share their biscuits).
What do you need?
- Curiosity. If you’ve ever asked “why?” more than five times in a row, you’re our kind of person.
- A basic understanding of numbers (no need to be a maths genius).
- A willingness to learn, try new things, and occasionally laugh at bad data puns.
Perks? Oh yes.
- Get paid while you learn (no student debt here!).
- Gain a recognised qualification.
- Flexible working and a supportive team.
- Bragging rights: “I work in data” sounds very grown-up.
How to apply?
Click the button. Fill in the form. Start your journey to becoming a data wizard. 🧙♂️
Warning: May cause sudden interest in graphs, dashboards, and saying “Let’s look at the data” in meetings.
