Job summary:
To provide the business and its clients with a trusted, single source of data, with outputs that are easy to use & understand; integrated across all our products and services.
Your tasks centre around understanding the businessās processes and data/reporting needs, translating them into actionable data frameworks, and outputs (dashboard/reports) to facilitate insightful analysis for strategic decision-making across the business. Once these are in place, you will compliment these outputs with analysis and commentary on the trends and potential implications thereof.
Your expertise in problem solving, data analysis, interpretation and presentation will be crucial in maximising the value of our data assets, thereby optimising business processes, uncovering growth opportunities, and boosting operational efficiency.

What youāll do:
- Analyse different performance metrics across the assigned business unit, producing meaningful reporting outputs that will allow for data driven insights and engagement;
- Providing data insights and commentary on trends and their potential implications for performance, problem-solving and planning.
- Present and explain data and associate insights in non-technical terms and engaging with stakeholders at any level;
- Working with the business unit stakeholders, to design, spec and build data requirements and support the development of business dashboards in ThoughtSpot/PowerBI and Excel;
- Participate in efforts to design, build, and develop rapid proof-of-concept (PoC) data solutions and dashboards/reporting;
- Be aware of the overall company data strategy, and contribute to the ideas and delivery of the team and business units āMust Win Battleā;
- Analyse data needs across systems and processes utilised across the business, coordinating or supporting new data/change requests;
- Work with clients to understand their data requirements and whatās required from their dashboards and reports;
- Produce bespoke queries/data extracts for stakeholders to enrich them with information in order to answer questions, address problems or make decisions;
- Proactively participate in all stages of continuous improvement initiatives as well as new business requirements/projects;
- Support colleagues and provide training on new reporting, telephony and data processes and procedures;
- Real time monitoring of the telephony supervisor dashboards, supporting the business with monitoring and achieving their KPIās.

Skills and Competencies
- Ability to work with various data modelling techniques and strategies including Kimble/Inmon, Data-Mesh etc. Apply knowledge of basic principles, methods and practices to simple and moderately complex assignments.
- Organised and able to prioritise work to meet deadlines and provide a high-quality output.
- The right combination of analytical, technical and commercial awareness to manage the conflicting needs of different stakeholders. Engaging with others to ensure understanding and desired outcome.
- A confident self-starter, with the ability to build effective relationships, positively influencing colleagues and clients to become a ātrusted advisorā.
- Good attention to detail when working with data, figures or outputs. Being able to spot anomalies and issues quickly and effectively to identify root cause or patterns of interest.
- Natural problem solver, understanding challenges and issues faced by users, to propose and work through solutions.

What weāre looking for:
Essential:
- Demonstrated experience in working with Data and Excel;
- Ability to create and present recommendations, dashboards and reports;
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel ā utilising Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts);
- Experience utilising business systems and how they interact with each other and the users.
Preferred:
- Knowledge and experience of Financial Systems Support (Access Dimensions) or ServiceNow Support and Administration;
- Experience with SQL, PowerBI, Tableau etc;
- Experience of cloud data solutions (AWS, Google, Microsoft Azure), AWS preferred.
