We are now looking for a commercially minded Data Analyst to join our team, with a particular focus on supporting our Marketing function. This role will focus on direct mail performance, customer segmentation, and campaign analytics—supporting end-to-end insight delivery across a variety of marketing and commercial initiatives. You'll sit within the Business Analytics function but work closely with stakeholders across Marketing and senior leadership.
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for producing impactful insight and dashboards across the business, while acting as the dedicated point of contact for the Marketing team. You’ll be especially focused on our direct mail programme (~50% of the role), using SQL and Power BI to deliver targeting, tracking, and forecasting for key campaigns. You will also contribute to wider departmental analytics as priorities evolve.
- Direct Mail Ownership – Lead analytics for our direct mail channel (~50% of the role), from targeting and audience definition through to A/B testing, performance tracking, and budget optimisation.
- SQL-Led Insight – Confidently write and modify complex SQL queries to analyse customer, marketing, and sales datasets, supporting strategic and tactical decision-making.
- Campaign Analytics & Forecasting – Deliver end-to-end reporting and scenario modelling for campaigns, using historical data to forecast volumes, revenue, and ROI across different scenarios.
- Power BI Reporting – Design and develop enterprise-grade dashboards for multiple departments, ensuring usability, performance, and alignment to stakeholder goals.
- Customer Segmentation – Build and maintain marketing-relevant customer segments using demographic, behavioural, and transactional data.
- Cross-Functional Analytics – Support analytical projects across the wider business, flexing between functions depending on demand and business impact.

About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Marketing Acumen – Familiarity with campaign performance, marketing attribution, and customer segmentation, ideally with experience supporting B2C marketing functions.
- SQL Expertise – Confident writing performant, well-structured SQL to extract and analyse data for a range of business use cases.
- Power BI Skills – Proven experience designing and deploying business dashboards in Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and usability considerations.
- Analytical Thinking – Able to interpret data in a commercial context, applying critical thinking and storytelling to support decision-making.
- Delivery Mindset – Comfortable working in an agile environment, raising and tracking delivery tickets, and collaborating across roles to drive solutions forward.
- Stakeholder Communication – Able to translate business requirements into technical definitions and communicate analytical outputs with clarity and confidence.
