Gillingham - 3 days the office

Salary up to £60,000

We’re partnered with a growing UK business looking to strengthen its analytics capability with the hire of a commercially minded Data Analyst.

This role sits at the heart of the organisation, working closely with senior leadership and operational teams to turn complex data into clear insight that directly supports profitability, efficiency and performance improvement.

The Role

As a Data Analyst, you’ll focus on analysing operational and service centre data to uncover trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

You’ll be responsible for developing dashboards and reports that enable leadership teams to make live, data driven decisions, while also helping the business understand where change can drive measurable value.

This is a hands on analytics role combining technical delivery with stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse large, complex datasets to identify patterns and performance trends
Map end to end operational processes to highlight improvement opportunities
Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards
Deliver clear insights that support revenue growth and cost optimisation
Partner with leadership and operations teams on targeted improvements
Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across platforms
Identify gaps in current systems and support business case development

What They’re Looking For

Proven experience in a Data Analyst role
Advanced Power BI experience essential
Strong SQL capability with experience interrogating full databases
Strong Excel skills
Experience working with large, complex datasets
Ability to communicate insight clearly to non technical stakeholders
Curious, analytical mindset with strong problem solving skills

Experience in retail, automotive or manufacturing environments is beneficial but not essential.
