The Role

They are hiring their first dedicated data owner; a hybrid role sitting between data analytics and data engineering. You’ll be stepping into a greenfield environment where your impact will be immediate and highly visible. Most of your time will be focused on data analysis, reporting, and turning structured data into actionable insights, while the role will involve light data engineering and working with tech teams to bring data together, validating pipelines, and ensuring everything is transformed and integrated correctly.

Key Responsibilities

Own reporting and data analysis across our platform and mobile app, ensuring stakeholders get meaningful insights.
Perform data pipeline checks: inputs, transformations, and outputs, spotting issues and improving reliability.
Review and validate transformations built in DBT and 5Tran, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Work with data flowing from MongoDB → PostgreSQL (via 5Tran), Pendeu (app data), and Google Analytics, consolidating these into structured reporting.
Use IVP to build and transform SQL-based pipelines (critical part of the role).

What They’re Looking For

Experience in data analysis and reporting, ideally within a healthcare, digital health, or mobile app environment.
Strong SQL expertise (non-negotiable).
Exposure to DBT, 5Tran, and cloud-based data setups (preferred).
Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Pendeu, Google Analytics or similar tools (preferred)
Comfortable balancing analysis/reporting with light engineering responsibilities (pipeline building, checks, integrations).
Startup mindset: independent, resourceful, and excited by building from scratch.
