Data and AI Governance Analyst

Insight Global is looking for a Data and AI Governance Analyst to join a large Reinsurance client. This role will be remote with traveling to the office in London 2x month. This analyst will be joining the Data and AI Governance Team and will play a key part in supporting the team establish of governance processes, audits, managing risks, and ensuring data privacy in close collaboration with the Legal and Privacy teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis and a keen interest in expanding their expertise in governance, audit, and privacy. The Analyst will be focusing on key projects within the commercial sector. This role involves bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving projects that deliver impactful and efficient data-driven insights. This is an opportunity to work with external service providers, shape data lake and reporting capabilities, and contribute significantly to growth and success. The candidate will work to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation covering the tactical, strategic, and operational aspects of day-to-day governance activities. This includes supporting the collaboration efforts with stakeholders across business units, Legal, and technology teams.

Qualifications:

• 7-10+ years’ experience as a Data and AI Governance Analyst
• Experience working within the Commercial Insurance Sector
• Recent experience in an analyst role supporting the implementation of data governance programs, following industry-standard frameworks and internal strategies.
• Strong recent background in data analysis and an interest in expanding their knowledge in governance, audit, and privacy
• Understanding of Data and AI Governance Concepts
• Hands-on experience in supporting data governance tools, audit process and risks management efforts in collaboration with governance leads, engineers, data stewards, and project managers.
