YOUR ROLE

Data Architect to lead the modernization of enterprise data platforms by designing and implementing a unified data lake on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). I am responsible for driving architectural roadmaps, designing ELT/ETL pipelines, and delivering scalable, reusable frameworks for data integration across real-time and batch environments and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and architecture teams to perform solution design, lead Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs), and define enterprise-wide data models. The role requires deep expertise in cloud data architecture, particularly around data ingestion, access, storage (data lakes and warehouses), and integration patterns both on-prem and in the cloud. This position offers an opportunity to shape the data platform strategy, lead key technical decisions, and deliver high-impact data solutions across diverse data landscapes.

YOUR PROFILE

• To modernize the enterprise data platforms, architect a solution for unified data lake on the Google cloud platform integrating various data sources for realtime and batch data feeds
• Lead the design and architectural roadmaps including all Data Platform Capabilities like data ingestion, data access, data lake, data warehouse.
• Provide technical leadership to project team(s) to perform design to deployment related activities, provide guidance, participate in reviews, prevent and resolve technical issues
• perform Proof-of-concept to determine feasibility and product evaluation of various integration tools for data integration and virtualisation across the cloud and on-prem
• Reusable framework design for data extraction and enrichment
• Conduct design reviews with architecture forum to discuss and ratify the proposed solutions
• Worked with product owner to finalize the product backlog, define epics and create user stories and provide support in defining the scope and sizing of work
• Architect, design and develop ELT and ETL solutions which are focused on moving Data around a highly diverse data landscape.
• Accountable for a consistent Conceptual, Logical and Physical data model(s) for representation of financial data
• Working across workstreams with ability to understand and define data models and taxonomies
