Are you an experienced Data Architect looking to play a strategic role in shaping the future of data in a dynamic and ambitious environment?

A leading organisation in the legal space is seeking a Data Architect to join its evolving data function. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone who’s already established in data architecture and ready to take ownership of designing scalable, secure, and future-ready data platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design and implement robust data models, databases, and architectures to support business-critical systems.
• Define and communicate technical direction for data platform strategy - short and long term.
• Produce high-quality architectural documentation and data flow designs.
• Collaborate closely with delivery, engineering, and business teams to align on architecture and strategy.
• Own and manage data lifecycle and ensure integrity, quality, and security of enterprise data assets.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Senior Data Architect or Lead Data Engineer with ownership of enterprise-scale architectures.
• Deep expertise in data modelling (3NF, Kimball, Data Vaults) and metadata-driven design.
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms, particularly Azure services: Databricks, Data Factory, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and more.
• Strong background in data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouses—including design, implementation, and optimisation.
