Job Title: Data Solution Architect
Location: Leeds or Halifax, UK (Hybrid: 2-3 Days to office every week)
Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)

Roles & responsibilities:
Solution Architecture
- Design and shape data architecture and communicate technology solutions
- Contribute from initiation, design, delivery and operations for data-driven solution
- Contribute to the design authority for a Lab or group of data products aligning with business goals
- Knowledge of applications, technologies and business processes across multiple platform domains
- Define data standards and ensure consistency, quality and security across systems
Collaboration
- Working as part of Architects, Engineers and product teams to ensure data models support platform needs
- Ensure compliance with the bank IT architecture design along with regulatory and statutory requirements
- Contribute to technical design meetings to achieve meaningful outcomes
- Participate in risk management to influence change planning and delivery
- Ensure alignment across various delivery teams within the organisation
Individual
- Enthusiastic and takes challenges of modern software development
- Ability to drive negotiations to gain agreement from stakeholders
Skills
- Strong background in data modeling, data warehousing and cloud-based platforms (GCP, Azure)
- Experience ETL processes, data integration and data quality frameworks
- Familiarity with agile delivery and DevOps practices
- Experience in Kafka streaming and batch processing
