Data Consultant - Data Excellence (Purview Practitioner)

📣 We are seeking a Contractor for an exciting engagement within a fast paced Data Technology Consultancy.

This will initially be a short-term contract role within our Data Excellence team to assist in delivering some key capabilities to clients and internal laboratories. The initial project focus will be on Purview and we are seeking those with proven success with hands-on experience in implementing Purview solutions for Data Governance (essential), with an ideal lean within Security and Privacy."

📝 The Role

Working with the Data Excellence team the role would involve the analysis, planning, design and implementation of concepts and value propositions with clients as well as internal team members to accelerate our offerings and laboratory capabilities

👩🧑🏾‍🦲A bit about YOU!

As much as we just love working with great, fun people, there are some obvious required Skills and Experience we are going to be seeking. For this role we'd be expecting to see proven experience in:

• Designing and implementing Purview solutions for Compliance and Security essential but not limited to Data Governance capabilities
• Purview hands-on experience with knowledge about M365 / Azure Cloud Datastore and Storage resources
• Proven deliverables and value driven approach to wider data management
• Consultant background preferred but not essential if proven experience within previous organisations / roles

You skill set will cover:

• MS Purview Data Map
• MS Purview Unified Catalog

 Your characteristics as a Consultant will include:

• Driven by delivering quality work, with a great eye for detail

• Takes accountability and ownership of tasks, and finds the best way to solve problems

• Excellent communicator who can make sense of and communicate complex ideas to audiences of differing levels of seniority and technical ability

• Ability to quickly understand client context and demonstrate expertise in their business

• Relationship builder, with the ability to motivate and engage effectively to build trust with clients and colleagues.

• An interest in industry trends, emerging technologies, and client's businesses

• Ability to take the lead and drive initiatives independently
