Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance data pipelines
• Develop backend services and APIs to support data processing and analytics
• Optimise data workflows for robustness, automation, and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including research and product
• Contribute to infrastructure setup and CI/CD best practices

Tech Stack

• Python
• AWS (Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation, S3)
• GitHub Actions (CI/CD)
• Vue.js (optional frontend involvement)

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer or Backend Engineer
• Proficiency in Python and cloud-based development (preferably AWS)
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment is a plus
