Brief Overview Of The Role
As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and warehouse solutions. This exciting position offers the chance to work on enterprise-grade data solutions and grow within a collaborative, technically driven team. You will collaborate closely with business analysts and project teams to deliver high-quality, reliable data for reporting and analytics, focusing on SQL-based ETL processes and cloud integration.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will build and maintain ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and SQL Server stored procedures, ensuring efficient and scalable data movement. You will develop and optimise SQL Server stored procedures and queries for data transformation and integration, and design and implement dimensional data models to support business intelligence and analytical workloads. Your contributions will include developing and maintaining data warehouse structures aligned with business needs and supporting data integration efforts using Azure Data Factory and SQL Server. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver technical data solutions, performing data analysis, validation, profiling, and quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and consistency. You will also assist in basic Power BI report development and dashboards, use PowerShell and Python scripts for automation and data manipulation tasks, and document technical processes, data flows, enterprise data maps, and system configurations.
We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of data, specifically those with experience in building and managing ETL pipelines who enjoys collaborating with colleagues from different departments to provide reporting and analytics that inform decision-making and support business strategy.
