Your Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Data Engineer with strong expertise in
Python and
Scala, and a proven track record in the
banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support advanced analytics, reporting, and decision-making processes.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Python and Scala.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Work with large-scale structured and unstructured data from various banking and financial systems.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Implement data governance and security best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Scala.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, or similar.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Prior experience working in the banking or financial services industry is mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
