As a Data Architect, I lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures that empower analytics and drive digital transformation within cross-functional teams of business and technology architects. I specialize in developing and maintaining logical and physical data models that align with business objectives while ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and governing data architecture and integration standards across Azure Data Factory and Databricks to deliver integrated analytics solutions.
- Managing the Information Management framework, including architecture, processes, and solution deployment.
- Defining and owning strategic roadmaps guiding the evolution to the target state across all Data & Analytics domains.
- Reviewing high-level designs and implementations to ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture standards.
- Establishing and enforcing standards, patterns, and controls for consistent and repeatable deployment of data services.
Profile Highlights:
- 5–10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, engineering, administering, and implementing complex data systems and architectures within the insurance industry.
- Deep understanding of insurance domain concepts, with practical expertise in data modeling and familiarity with London Market and specialty insurance data terminologies.
- Proficient in data modeling tools like Erwin, and experienced in data warehousing and ETL/ELT pipeline development.
- Skilled in Azure Data Factory and Databricks for designing and orchestrating secure, scalable data pipelines.
- Holds industry certifications in Azure, Databricks, or data architecture (preferred).
- Strong grasp of SDLC methodologies including Agile, DevOps, and rapid prototyping.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for engaging senior leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Adaptable, curious, and innovative mindset with a passion for continuous learning and proposing creative solutions.
