About the Role

We are looking for a Data Operations Analyst to join a busy data team supporting a prestigious governing body in a global sport. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running and delivery of data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics services that support both operational and commercial decision-making. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, you will help ensure data is available, accurate, and delivered to the highest technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day management of data feeds, including monitoring and troubleshooting issues

• Work with third-party providers to support and maintain data pipelines

• Support data platform health through logging, monitoring, and incident resolution

• Assist business users with ad hoc data requests and support dashboard delivery

• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and support tickets

• Provide timely updates and clear communication to internal teams and stakeholders

• Support small platform improvements and changes, with the opportunity to contribute to data architecture over time

Skills & Experience

• Strong SQL experience and confidence working with complex datasets

• Experience supporting data pipelines and data platforms

• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is essential

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities
