Contract: Full-time
Salary: £63–84k (DOE & location)
Our client, a leading professional services firm, is hiring a Data Privacy Manager to strengthen its privacy and compliance team. This role offers the chance to shape the organisation’s privacy framework, advise on compliance, and tackle challenges involving technologies like Generative AI and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on privacy compliance and oversee tech solutions against data protection rules.
- Lead PIAs, manage international transfers, and support contractual negotiations.
- Guide incident response and drive improvements to the privacy framework.
- Mentor junior colleagues and support cross-business initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in data privacy, compliance, or regulatory advisory.
- In-depth knowledge of UK/EU data protection laws (GDPR, DPA, PECR).
- Track record in managing privacy programmes/projects.
- Relevant certification (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPP/T).
- Skilled advisor with leadership and mentoring experience; in-house background preferred.
