About the role.
We are looking for a talented privacy expert to play a key role in supporting the implementation of the privacy programme at Zilch. This role will report to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and will be responsible for documenting key privacy assessments [LIA, TIA and DPIA…etc], reviewing privacy contracts, and contributing to various privacy and data protection initiatives.
Day to day responsibilities.
- Review privacy vendor contracts, data processing agreements, and clauses for international data transfers. Liaise with relevant teams during the vendor onboarding due diligence process.
- Conduct and document Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs), and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs).
- Monitor and document personal data flows and maintain the Record of Processing Activities (RoPA).
- Handle Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and other data subject rights requests, ensuring appropriate procedures are in place to support these processes.
- Develop and deliver privacy training across the business.
- Assist in the investigation, resolution, and reporting of data privacy complaints and breaches.
- Support various teams in ensuring compliance with data protection and privacy laws while enabling data-driven innovation.
- Support the Data Protection Officer in additional data protection-related tasks as required
We're looking for...
- Bachelors degree in law or in a relevant subject area.
- Relevant privacy qualifications like CIPP/E.
- Up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of UK Data Protection Laws.
- Experience reviewing privacy contracts.
- Experience processing data subject requests.
- Proven ability to complete Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs), and Legitimate Interest Assessments (LIAs).
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and perform well under pressure.
- Relevant experience using and managing OneTrust modules (Desirable).
