Role Description

This is a full time, on-site role for a Data Protection Consultant located in Leeds. The Data Protection Consultant will be responsible for conducting GDPR Gap Analyses, providing strategic consultancy, and ensuring data protection compliance for our clients. The role involves engaging with clients to understand their specific requirements, conducting risk assessments, developing data protection frameworks, and delivering training and awareness sessions. The consultant will also be involved in managing information security and data protection tasks, providing practical solutions to meet legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Data Protection and Data Security
• Strong background in Cybersecurity and Information Security
• Consulting experience, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in staff training and awareness, with a focus on data protection and compliance
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications (CIPP, CIPM, CISSP) are a plus
