Role Title: Data Quality Analyst
Department: Data
Location: Liverpool, Leeds or Glasgow
Contract Type: Permanent
Reporting to: Jamie Clague
The Role
This role will be instrumental in ensuring that data meets the required quality standards. You will work across multiple product teams and business areas to measure and monitor data quality across multiple systems. Your expertise will be crucial in profiling data, defining data quality rules, and ensuring high data integrity.
Outcomes of the Role
Data Quality Assurance:
- Ensure data is of the required quality across multiple systems and data domains.
- Profile data and gather, document, and define data quality rules and requirements in collaboration with Data Owners, Data Stewards, and business SMEs.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work with Data Domains and change teams to provide advice and guidance on data quality principles.
- Present dashboards and data quality metrics to senior stakeholders and project teams.
- Actively drive engagement and awareness of Rathbones Data Management principles by supporting and coaching people in data roles.
Dashboard Development and Reporting:
- Build and embed dedicated dashboards to highlight key data quality metrics and data remediation requirements.
Issue Management:
- Embed a Data Quality Issue Management process within each workstream.
- Triage and manage data quality issues through to resolution by collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
Knowledge & Experience
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience of working in a Data Management capacity, specifically within a Data Quality function.
- Experience in Data Quality Issue Management.
- Knowledge and understanding of other Data Management disciplines, such as Data Governance, Metadata Management and Data Architecture.
- Strong SQL experience.
- Strong experience in developing dashboards, preferably using tools such as Power BI, or similar.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to coach and support colleagues in data roles.
