The Role:
As part of the Chief Data & Analytics Office, the Data Quality Manager will work as part of the team to deliver the Data & Analytics Strategy, focusing on building trust in the data created and used by colleagues day-to-day to deliver for clients and run our business operations.
The Data Quality Manager will be responsible for shaping and developing standards and approaches to both improve and provide assurance of data quality to business stakeholders. This role is critical to support the realisation of value from strategic digital transformation projects and to ensure we are fit for future uses of data in a rapidly changing technology landscape
As part of the Chief Data & Analytics Office within Enterprise-Wide Technology (the firms internal technology division), the Data Quality Manager will work as part of the team to deliver our Data & Analytics Strategy, focusing on building trust in the data created and used by colleagues day-to-day to deliver for clients and run our business operations.
The role will be responsible for shaping and developing standards and approaches to both improve and provide assurance of data quality to business stakeholders. This role is critical to support the realisation of value from strategic digital transformation projects and to ensure we are fit for the future.
The individual will be required to work across the firm to put the culture, processes and technology in place to ensure data is trustworthy, reliable and fit for purpose. The role will report into the Head of Data Governance within the Chief Data & Analytics Office.
Key responsibilities include:
Leadership & Management:
This role requires leadership across the organisation to support and engage colleagues in data management and advising on best practices. This role currently has no direct reports, however there will also be a requirement to lead colleagues across the Chief Data & Analytics Office, to ensure consistency, a focus on business priorities and implementation of best practice.
Stakeholder Interaction & challenges:
This is an internal facing role, focussing on implementing the data governance and quality aspects of the firms Data & Analytics Strategy. The data quality manager will need to interact with a broad range of stakeholders across the organisation, ranging from non-technical to technical and strategic to operational. They will need to adapt to the priorities of different parts of the business and foster the creation of a data quality culture. There is likely to be a requirement to travel to meet key stakeholders in London and Zurich.
