Data Science - Senior Consultant (Customer Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Digital Analytics)

Consulting Point is recruiting on behalf of a leading consultancy seeking talented Senior Data Science Consultants to join its expanding Customer & Marketing Analytics practice. This is an opportunity to work on high-profile projects that harness advanced analytics and AI to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The successful candidate will have proven expertise in data science and analytics, with a strong ability to apply technical solutions to commercial and customer-focused challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement solutions that generate measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and evaluating Generative AI solutions and Large Language Models for diverse use cases.
• Creating and deploying machine learning models for predictive, classification, forecasting, and deep learning purposes.
• Conducting customer behaviour analysis across marketing, digital, commercial, and product domains.
• Working with varied data sets including transactional, digital, social, and loyalty data.
• Translating complex data into clear insights using visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Managing projects from initial concept through to delivery, including proofs of concept, minimum viable products, and production-ready solutions.
• Mentoring and guiding team members to support their technical and professional development.

Essential skills and experience:

• Hands-on experience in data science with a strong focus on customer and marketing analytics.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and tools for data science and machine learning.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Expertise in Large Language Models (LLM's)

Desirable attributes:

• Experience in sectors such as consumer products, retail, energy, utilities, telecoms, or public services.
• Familiarity with ethical best practices in AI and data science.
• Awareness of emerging AI technologies such as Agentic AI.
• A curious and innovative mindset, with an interest in the latest advancements in AI and analytics.
