The Role
We are looking for a visionary Data Strategy & Advisory Leader at Managing Principal level to drive the growth of Capco’s award-winning Data Practice. You’ll lead the design and delivery of enterprise data strategies and capabilities across Financial Services, collaborating with top-tier clients and multidisciplinary teams to shape innovative, scalable solutions. This is a senior leadership opportunity to influence direction, drive commercial growth, and mentor the next generation of data leaders.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and operationalise enterprise-level data strategies across banking, insurance and investment sectors
- Lead engagements focused on governance, data literacy, quality and regulatory response
- Shape new propositions and lead business development initiatives in data consulting
- Scale data capabilities across internal teams and client organisations, delivering consistent outcomes
- Build lasting senior stakeholder relationships and contribute to industry-facing thought leadership
- 8+ years of senior-level data consulting experience with Financial Services institutions
- Extensive experience in enterprise data transformation, including strategy and advisory
- Expertise in frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK, DCAM, CDMC and the full data lifecycle
- Proven record in business development, client engagement and team leadership
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups
- Experience working with data regulations such as BCBS 239, CCAR, Solvency II
- Familiarity with Capital Markets, Insurance, or Wealth & Asset Management data environments
- Background leading large, cross-functional client and internal delivery teams
- Track record in pipeline development, domain planning, and proposition design
- Formal certification in data governance, data architecture or data strategy
- Deliver high-impact technology solutions for Tier 1 financial institutions
- Work in a collaborative, flat and entrepreneurial consulting culture
