We are currently seeking a Deckhand/Launch Coxswain to join our Fawley operation, offering a unique opportunity to work in one of the UK’s largest oil terminals which forms a vital part of the UK’s energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
As a Deckhand/Launch Coxswain, you’ll play an integral role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the vessel.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Assisting with Planned Maintenance and maintaining the vessel’s cleanliness, safety standards, and equipment checks.
- Operating under the Master’s guidance to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Taking ownership of the vessel, including proactive involvement in safety and operational standards.
- Performing both deck and engine-related tasks as required, showcasing adaptability and teamwork.
- General tug husbandry and taking part in the cooking rota.
- Undertaking mandatory training for personal and professional development.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for maritime operations.
Essential Qualifications And Experience
- Able Seaman or Navigational Watch Rating Certificate, including EDH.
- Valid ENG1 medical certificate and STCW Basic Safety Training, with at least 12 months validity.
- Harbour, terminal towage or small boat experience
- Small boat handling experience
- Full UK Driving Licence and the Right to Work in the UK
Desired Qualifications And Experience
- RYA Powerboat Level 2 or higher
